Hello nice people, It's Mrs. C.
I think it is a wonderful idea but before you proceed with this project...please check into it a little further.
My experiences with rare diseases is first hand and not something that should be discussed here. I have lived my entire life with the knowledge that being alive is a gift and shouldn't ever be taken for granted. The age of 12 was my deadline and I'm a few years past that... Praise the Lord
On this board there are mothers and grandmothers of children with "Make a Wish" children. I am one of them and so is kbrzez. My granddaughter, KC has a rare muscle disorder and is taking treatments for the next two years in hope that she will go into remission. Yes, it can be painful for her, our family and our friends.
Now, if you would like to consider giving a BB to a patient or donations for a BB ... it might be best if you contact your local Make a Wish chapter, Miracle Network, or Ronald McDonald House or the Pediatrics floor of the local hospital. There may be an on going fund that could be supported.
As far as AG ... I believe that they donate at the corporate level but if you ask a CS they would probably be able to direct your call to the correct department.
Oh, how You wonderful people warm my heart. Helping hands and such love.
Sometimes it's just knowing that someone cares that makes the difference.
All will be well... ^j^ Mrs.C.
